Job Title: Administrative Assistant – Human Resources and Operations

Job Type: Part-Time to Full-Time

Location: 50 E 42nd St. New York, NY 10017

Compensation: $20/hr

*This is an in-restaurant position for an individual location. This is not an office, corporate, or multi-unit position.*

Role Summary:

Based in Midtown Manhattan, this role will help provide administrative and support for the development and implementation of Chick-fil-A culture, HR, talent, and some operations for an individual Chick-fil-A restaurant franchise. The ideal candidate will have the utmost professionalism, growth mindset, an eye for the details, and will be comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment. Key competencies required in this role include: strong written and verbal communications, strong organization and follow through, strong administrative skills, strong adaptability, resourcefulness, and eye for even the smallest details.


  • Review resumes and invite candidates in for interviews.
  • Manage candidates’ applications in applicant tracking system.
  • Manage existing employee’s files in applicant tracking system.
  • Manage and maintain uniform inventory by keeping it stocked, submitting orders for approval when running low, and laundering used uniforms.
  • On interview days, receive and keep detailed notes on candidates arriving and not arriving for interviews.
  • Collect signatures on necessary forms when requested including, but not limited to direct deposits, policy updates, sick pay, and follow up to ensure all employees have signed.
  • Onboard new hires by entering their data into HR/Payroll system, updating their application status, printing updated information for managers and preparing other relevant materials prior to employee’s first day.
  • Keep in restaurant postings up to date by including the weekly schedule and other postings as required by law.
  • Track and collect signatures and information needed to process paid sick leave and communicate to relevant leadership
  • Review signatures daily to ensure relevant matters have been properly documented including, but not limited to time punch variance.
  • Assist in collecting all relevant information for any notices or other requests for information.
  • Enter daily reviews and feedback on 3rd party delivery personnel.
  • Maintain and update catering customer database.
  • Track additional rewards and incentives for employees.
  • Receive list of items to order from various vendors from leaders and submit orders for approval.
  • Maintain first aid inventory
  • Enter vendor invoices.
  • Provide additional administrative support when/where needed.


  • Minimum of 1+ years of directly related experience HR or administrative support experience.
  • Highly detailed and organized.
  • Strong administrative, organization, planning, management, and follow through skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
